Crime Watch U.K BBC 1 and
BBC News
I had the honour of filming
for Crime Watch UK, reconstructing the sad case of 16 year old Jack Macleod, tracing his last movement's on the night
of his passing in 2006.
This was filmed from 3.30 pm until 4.30 am, along side some of Jack's
school friends, who I was able to talk to throughout the day. I got the impression from them that he was a
kind and loving person who enjoyed life. As an actor playing this role, it was essential to be spot on when following
direction. It had to be correct, in order to get people remembering if they saw anything that night. This was a
very important project to me, and also to Jack's family, to help find out what happened to him. This
was a very worthwhile role that I am immensely proud of. The reconstruction brought many leads when aired
on the BBC, and was a great help to the investigation.
Grease Monkeys BBC 3
Grease Monkeys was a surreal black comedy, set around a business run by a dysfunctional Asian family.
This project was filmed at Pebble Mill working along side TV legend Antonio Fargas famous for 'I'm a Celebrity, Get
me out off here' and Huggy Bear in 'Starsky and Hutch' . I played a male prostitute Pretty Boy. Great
fun to film and a pleasure to work with such talented professionals.
When
Satan came to Town BBC Documentary
Here I played
a character named James who lived in Rochdale with his family, when one morning the police and the Social workers raided his
home. He, along with his brother and sister, were taken into care as the Social workers wrongly suspected him and
his parents of ritualistic, satanic abuse. In the 1980s and 1990s, James' family were one of many families to
have their children taken into care, for the wrong reasons.
